Some more prayer requests are:
-favor with our technology :) (we continue to have problems with connecting American equipment with European equipment.
-protection from spiritual attacks
-grace to withstand spiritual warfare and to fight the good fight!
-health as we endure the cold weather (i have noted atleast 22 degrees)
-strength and rest as we travel by bus a lot and exhaustion can be a side effect of full time ministry
-divine appointments! we continue to believe in faith that this is a powerful tool that we are using -- worship --- and as we worship and lift God up, He will draw all men unto Himself!

Dear Norway team! WE are indeed praying for you guys! The Holy Spirit is on the move here in the states in a great way. Awesome things have been going on down at IHOP in KC and miracles and salvations and baptisms! IT's so awesome. I know the Lord is going to do great things in Norway. We love you all! Special shout out to Cole & Bilal. Marketing misses you guys!

Mary - We miss you. Naiyah has been asking about you every morning, night, and well, pretty much all the time. I hope you are able to see the Northern lights in their fullness. We're praying for you and miss you! Can't wait to hear more when you get home! Your favorite landlord Ingrid :)

ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago there was a 10 year old boy who was demon possessed. He was so heavily involved in Satan's kingdom, that on multiple occasions, his parents even saw him get physically translated out of the house and translated back 3 or 4 days later. One day his parents took him to an evangelist who had experience with casting out demons. The evangelist asked the boy if he wanted to be free, and the boy said yes. After casting many powerful demons out of the boy, he was finally free from demonic influence. He then continued to go to church and feed on the word. About a year later, after the evangelist decided that the boy had had sufficient time to develop a foundation in Jesus, he sat down with the boy and asked him some questions about his possession.
First he asked, "what was it like being in that situation?"
The boy replied, "I would hear the demons telling me to things."
The evangelist asked, "did you always do what they told you to do?"
They boy said, "no."
Then the evangelist asked, "what would the demons do if you didn't obey them?"
The boy replied, "They would whimper."
The point of all this is to say that Jesus gave man dominion over this world and everything in it. Even a 10 year old child who wasn't born again would make demons whimper. They had no authority over him. Period. How much more authority the believer has!! I know you all are experiencing some major warfare, but just keep in mind that Jesus has already won the victory! We don't have to fight the evil one because he's already been defeated. All you have to do is put him back in his place and remind him which bloodline you come from. We are the body of Christ, if Christ (our head) was seated at the right hand of the father, then his body was seated there as well. If God placed the whole world and satan's kingdom under Jesus' feet, then he has placed it under our feet, because we are the body! Walk in your authority everyday, don't let the enemy take an inch because it doesn't belong to him. Stand firm and walk in victory because it's already yours! Claim it, visualize it and tell your feelings to get out of the way.

ReplyDeletei have been learning a GREAT deal about perseverance and the more i press in, the harder things get; if you're encountering resistance, it means you're doing something right! may He give you the strength to wield effectively the weapons He has placed in your hands.
as a side note, the Lord has also been teaching me the last few years about using worship as warfare [particularly banner worship, for me]. as you worship, i believe you will make inroads where the enemy doesn't want you and that is another reason you'll encounter resistance.

so do not be dismayed when the wicked prosper as a result of my blessing for you! You are the witness against them I need. Jeremiah was told that My people would not listen to the words he was speaking from Me... I knew in advance that they would reject him for they have rejected ME. Remember that not everyone will listen, for they are not all of Me so they cannot understand. You have the "smell of death to those who are perishing"... you RE-PRESENT Me and they recognize ME in YOU, and THAT is why they fight against you and resist you. Do not be dismayed, my children for My power is sufficient, but I am being patient with them for THEIR sakes. Understand and be patient as a parent would be with a young child who does not understand that the discipline is for the child's benefit. The child fusses and cries and struggles against the parent, but the child soon relinquishes control when they realize the great love the parent has for them. Continue to love them as you have been doing, for "love conquers all". By doing so you will rescue some... and some will continue to choose to perish in their own ways... BUT YOU WILL RECEIVE "WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT"!
